These stones from the beaches of Ithaca are beautifully smooth and rounded by the sea, wonderful to hold in your hand. On an island that is so rich in history and natural beauty, there are images everywhere that can inspire an artist. I have painted the stones with images that I found in nature, folklore and history, using waterproof acrylic paint.
