Dancing Sun (1994)
Summer 1993 the sun was mostly hidden behind clouds. I made this painting as a declaration of love, an ode to the sun, acknowledging her power and influence.

The sun is the source of life, light, energy, warmth. For us earthlings of extreme importance, the sun was considered divine and personified as a god since ancient times. The sun dances across the sky, her beams reaching in all directions.
